Building a fan base in the US is a new challenge for us and we're excited for audiences to hear about it, try it and hopefully love it! Since the US release, in November 2006, SingStar Rocks! has already done really well.

It's not your typical kind of videogame - it's simple and social and mainstream and really needs to be played to experience its full potential. We've been enjoying SingStar for a little longer here in Europe, since 2004, and we're expecting the interest and momentum to build over time in the US as it did in Europe. Plus you get to battle your mates on it head to head. Another good thing is it isn't all just old kareoke music there's new songs out there as well for all different types of genres. You get cool, bad, awful etc as you are singing then get ranked at the end as Singstar, wannabe, rising star etc. Singstar is massive in Europe i know of people buying a PS2 just for this game and BUZZ, when i first saw it running at a friends house i said you've got no chance of getting me on that, then after my first go you couldn't get me off the damn thing :lol: It's really cool because it doesn't matter if you can't sing as long as ou get the timing right and the pitch you get points.
